Registration Site is Open!. The IEEE Meetings, Conferences and Events (MCE) is handling IROS 2020 Registrations, thru their online Cvent system. Click http://www.cvent.com/d/jnqwj0 to register.

Final Paper Submission site is also Open!. Paper Plaza is handling submission uploads. Submission decision letters were emailed on June 30, 2020. Deadline to upload final paper submission is July 31, 2020 23:59 PST on the RAS Paper Plaza http://ras.papercept.net site.

Registration Details and Rates


At least one paper author has to be registered and paid in full before the paper can be presented at the conference (whether the format is in-person, virtual, hybrid, etc).

Conference registrations include access to technical sessions, exhibits, competitions, coffee breaks, Awards Lunch, Welcome Reception, Conference Banquet, Farewell Reception, and the conference proceedings.

Workshop and tutorial registrations include only access to workshops and tutorials, and the coffee breaks during the workshops and tutorials, on Sunday, October 25 and Thursday, October 29. It is possible to register for workshops and tutorials without registering for the conference.

Cancellation Policy


All refund requests must be made via email to [email protected]. All cancellations will be subject to a $50 cancellation fee before September 4, 2020, 11:59pm EST. NO REFUNDS will be made after September 4, 2020. You are allowed to change the name on the registration without penalty.

Q1. What do I do if I have difficulty uploading my paper(s)?
A1. If you are having difficulty uploading your paper, please ensure that your paper is linked to an author registration and all registration fees have been paid in full. If the above is not complete, please contact the registration team at [email protected]. If the registration is current and all registration fees have been paid and you are still unable to upload your paper, please contact [email protected]

Q2. What if I have multiple papers to upload?
Recall, a student registration may only upload one paper. All other registrations may upload two papers. There is an option on the registration site to add up to 3 additional papers during registration.

Q3. What if I'm an Attendee requiring additional items?
A3. Please access your registration through the “Modify Registration” link located in your confirmation email and modify the selections as needed. Alternately, you may go to the registration site, and select “Already Registered” button to modify an existing registration.

  • If you need to add options to your registration, please click on the Modify Registration link in your confirmation email.
  • You will be required to enter the email address that was used to register, in addition to your registration confirmation number which can be found on your confirmation email.
  • Click to Modify Your Registration to add the additional items as needed
  • Submit credit card payment or select alternate payment option to submit payment for the additional items
  • You will receive a confirmation email once the additions have been completed. If a confirmation email is not received, your update may not be complete. Please Email [email protected] for assistance.


Visa Invitation Letter


Official letters of invitation for visa applications are available to REGISTERED and PAID participants only. These letters do not and cannot commit the Organizing Committee to any financial obligation. Upon successful completion of your online registration and after having made full payment, please contact [email protected] to request your visa invitation letter.
